If you find yourself in Ann Arbor this month, check out the 27 minute film ‘Metamorphism’ which is currently popping up on a 24 hour looped video installation in the storefront windows of the Ann Arbor Art Center for the 60th Ann Arbor Film Festival. The video installation animates a hypnotizing microscopic interplay of light rocks that artist Manda Moran made in collaboration with Steve Kidder’s geology lab. Still shots from the film can be seen on the 1st floor of the Marshak building outside room 107.
