NASA’s next international air-quality and oceanographic field campaign, KORUS-AQ/OC, will be held in South Korea in May-June 2016 and EAS Professor Maria Tzortziou and PhD student Brian Lamb will be part of the research crew onboard the Research Vessel Onnuri linking field measurements to space-based observations from a geostationary satellite sensor. The KORUS-AQ/OC field campaign will combine observations from aircraft, satellites, ships, ground stations and models to monitor and understand impacts of human activities and natural processes on air quality and ocean processes in coastal regions.
